High Trans temp (280) and no 4th gear lockup e4od
I've been having issues with my e4od. I just had it "rebuilt". I put in a Trans Go shift kit, and got a new HD torque converter. I made sure to free the lines and tranny cooler. I also cleaned the solenoid plug, and I also replaced my neutral safety switch (got busted during swap). I checked resistance on my
SS1, SS2, and it was 29.95 ohms. TCC was 15 ohms. CCS was 29.95 ohms. EPC + to EPC - was 7.5 ohms. My TOT was accurate. I'm running 280 degrees after a 30 mile drive. I'm wondering if my solenoid pack is going bad. It's got a new converter, so I'm doubting that it's bad outta the box. Maybe replace the valve body and solenoid pack? That's a lot of $$$. Wanna save and do this cheaply. I'm already in my Trans 1700 bucks
