I'm confused (it doesn't take much). In your signature it says "2017 F250 Ultimate Lariat CC 4x4 White Gold." Is your truck a King Ranch Ultimate, or a Lariat Ultimate?
I have a King Ranch Ultimate. The Ultimate has the stainless steel cover on the gate. The regular KR has the smaller emblem.

Have not changed my sig yet,..just bought a king ranch Ultimate with a plain tailgate minus a small emblem.
I would question the dealership. Every single KR Ultimate I've seen has the stainless cover. Before doing so, I'd check to see if there's a truck like yours in the employee parking area. You may find it there.
You had to get the chrome package and the monochromatic package to get the tailgate plate. A normal ultimate king ranch doesn’t have the tailgate plate. Mines a ultimate king ranch and it didn’t come with it.

Cool thank you...I do not like the chrome package, anyway...good to hear.

he is right. If you get the painted bumpers and wheels you don’t get the large silver badge on tailgate
Well, that makes sense. I ordered the chrome package and the Monochromatic package, so that explains it.
I like the painted bumpers and think they look really nice, however, after spending 2000 miles on the interstate driving to hospitals in the past 2 weeks, the 80 mph bug splatters are getting bad, and chrome bumpers are so easy to clean!

I hear ya.
Painted bumpers would be chipped and rusting in a few months of the roads I drive. It's chrome or nothing.
I guess that's why I have the big KR panel on the tailgate.

At first, I didn't like the panel. Now that I have it, the others look like something is missing on them.
I guess I'll like it until it gets a ding in it. I may change my mind about things when I see how much a replacement is. Something tells me Ford is real proud of them.

I like this panel. I can't imagine the truck without it now.

I put the Liquid Chrome "SUPER DUTY" lettering below it. It looks nice. Mine is Ruby Red, so the Chrome shows up a bit more. The white was a reeeaaaal close second for me. It always looks classy.
My neighbor just traded his brand new GMC dually for a new F450 Platinum. I couldn't believe it. He was a GM man his whole life. I guess getting a ticket for being over weight with a horse trailer did it for him. He couldn't believe that his GMC 3500 dually wasn't legal to haul a horse trailer.
