aftermarket camera help

just installed JVC kw-M-730 BT in my 2014 250 i add Maestro RR to control for steering wheel functions . I bought Metra Back up camera, radio works good but i got no back up camera, the little lines come on the screen. I wired the camera to the powered wire to the back light. black wire is grounded. ran the the rca wire to the camera input on the radio. its plugged in. any ideas?

Best bet would be to go to the manufacturer’s website and ask them; may save you alot of time and trouble.

If you were replacing an oem camera (which it sounds like you didn’t do), I think the dealer has to program it to recognize it. Since you presumably installed the wiring, camera, and screen, that shouldn’t apply.

Oh go into the settings and make sure it's turned on as well.
