Are there any sensor issues with putting a strip of tint across the top of the windshield on the 2017 F250? Looking at a strip of 25% tint (same thing I am having put on all other windows). Thought about doing the entire windshield, but afraid it would be to dark at night (even with 70% tint).
Also, for anyone that has ran the strip across the top, did you go all the way down to the A1 line or up a little higher?
By law I'm not supposed to but Alabama is pretty lenient on such things, at least where I'm at. Plus it gets as hot as Hades down here. Helps keep it somewhat cooler in the summer months.
I have the whole front window done with clear ceramic (70% transmitted light) plus a 30% strip "eyebrow" down to the AS1 line - no issues with any sensors.
30% Ceramic tint. Full windshield. No issues and I absolutely love it. Definitely makes it more challenging to drive at night. Just need to pay more attention.
