well... I've gone through the F-150, Bronco, and computer tuning forums and haven't found this yet so i figure it's a fair question....
looking to add a chip to my '90 Bronco. It's a mostly stock 302EFI (EEC-IV) with the few mods I have being: K&N Air Charger, Edelbrock Twin 56mm Throttlebody, shorty headers, Flowmaster 2-stage w/2.5" pipes... also running 33" tires That being said... I'm comparing chips. Looking for just a single program. This is used for strictly on-road driving anymore (since I got my jeep) and is used for towing only now-and-then. I've noticed that the truck sems a little under powered around the 70-75MPH range. Also would like more get-up off the start as the power doesn't really kick in until the 2500 and up range. I've pretty much exhausted the Jet chip and am wonderin what you guys think would work best for my needs (Superchip or Diablo Sport). THanks
You can't get a Superchips chip for it. Superchips dropped all custom tuning support for EEC-IV computers months ago. Unless you need stock tuning, Diablo is the way to go right now. The ONLY Superchips chips we even program anymore is the rare case of a stock vehicle that Diablo doesn't have an application for.
