E0TZ-18549-A vs E2TZ-18549-A

As the title says.

I just purchased a E2TZ-18549-A heater panel off ebay NOS for $80. Thing is I couldn't find a E0TZ-18549-A and I am kind of wondering what the difference is between the Pre 3/82 and the Post 3/82 heater panels?

I did a google image search and I found one picture but it was for a E0TZ-18549-D which looks the same except for the blend lever lettering but that I am not sure on if its because its a D suffix or if its because of the E0TZ prefix.

The difference may have something to do with these two pics:

Hmmm wonder why that would effect the HVAC panel.

I mean the cables didn't say when I looked the part numbers up anything about pre 3/82 or post 3/82. I wonder if they made a revisement to strengthen the panel or maybe the pin on the panel. My pin is broken that keeps the temp lever aligned mine the temp lever keeps falling backwards when you try to slide to heat. Which is why I am replacing the whole unit.

Long as it bolts in the dash and all my stuff will hook up correctly I wont care about the month difference. I'm just a little concerned that Nov 1 gets here when it comes in only to find out it wont work.
