In the F 150 and, I think, in the Expys, there's a rubber plug above the accelerator pedal and towards the passenger side. It is visible from the engine side below the power brake vacuum housing. That worked for me.
On my '97 there is a round, black rubber grommet in the firewall below, and a few inches toward the engine from the master brake cylinder. One factory cable already runs through it. Pop it out towards the engine compartment, put a slit in it large enough for all your cables, the push it back in. I dab of silicone will close up any tiny holes left. I have five power cbles running through that for my uses.
