First Post! Transmission/ Clutch Issues

Good evening folks,

This is is my first post on the form. I need help indentifying the issue that is making my truck hard to shift. I have a 96 F150 with a 300 inline 6 and a 5 speed.

A few months ago I noticed that it was becoming harder to shift, especially into first gear at a stop. Eventually it got so bad that I couldn't even get it into gear. The shop I brought it to put a new clutch, slave, and master cylinder in it. It ran great after that, but after a couple days of driving the issue was back again. So I took it back to the shop and they replaced the pedal assembly because they saw play in the pedal. It drove fine after that, but again after a few days it was having issues shifting again. Brought it back to the shop a third time and they did the clutch again for free. Again, it drove fine for a few days then progressively got harder and harder to shift.

I have no idea what could be causing this issue. Does this sound like a clutch issue or is it time to start thinking about a tranny rebuild? I can't understand why it shifts fine for a few days after each repair, then gets hard to shift again any input should be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like synchronizer gears to me. They are not hard to do but the trans dies have to come apart.
