The most obvious difference is that the diesel has six studs and the gas has four studs. The gas converters also have a higher stall speed than the diesel converters.
Will either one fit into the transmission? Yes, they will.
So the Diesel TC, though it would fit, would not bolt up to the gas flexplate? I'm just wondering if I could use the diesel version TC in my gas Trans to get the lower stall speed??
Mark, thanks for the feedback. The flexplate that I'm purchasing should have holes set up for 6 or 4 studs. So this should work. I guess my question should have been, "are the demensions the same?"
