Thanks in advance ..
ok so I got a 1989 ford f250 xlt extend cab 7.3 2wd.
when I got the truck only the drivers side window worked so I pulled the panel on the passenger side and found a detached wire.. hooked it back up and walla both Windows working.
here is the problem. I shut the truck off and with the key forward I hit both power window button at the same time to roll em up and they moved for about 3 inches and stopped dead..
1. Fuse seems to good. Silver 30b
2. I've tried direct power to the passenger side window and it rolls up and down. But driver side seems to be dead. Can't really get to the plug.
So I guess my question is this. What would cause this.
I had this happen on my 86, the fuse seemed OK at first. After a few hours of diagnoses and not finding any broken wires, I ended up replacing the fuse with a new one and everything worked.
