I have a 1998 F-150 and the passenger side window was left down in the garage for several days. When I went to leave this morning the window would not go back up.
I heard one click when I pressed the button. Could it be the fuse and if so which fuse controls windows? If not fuse anybody know what it could be?
If the fuses that Tim mentioned are ok you'll probably have to remove the door trim panel and check for power to the window motor. The motor may have died.
It should be fuse 25 under the hood.
I just thought of a similar problem I had a few months ago on an Expedition. It turned out that the driver's switch was bad. I was able to pop it apart and clean the contacts and it worked again. I replaced the switch after though so it wouldn't happen again.
