Yes I do it every time I find a a rust free bed. I drill out the spot welds, and get the old wheel well liners out. Then I sandblast the whole underneath side of the bed. Then I por15 the bed and top the por15 with tractor black paint. Get your new liners drill holes in them so it will drain. Then glue the liners in, no welding required.
