Emissions Tube Missing???
I was wondering if something is missing from the "thing".
I'm not sure what it is or if something should be connected to it.
Can anyone help?
When the truck is running it is pushing out air.

Nothing is wrong. That muffler looking thing is supposed to vent to atmosphere.
It's part of the air injection system. It provides air directly to the converter to aid heating it quicker on cold starts. When not required the air is dumped to atmosphere. Hence the open nozzle.
We get the same question and photo about once a week.
