Adding Remote Access to '17 Edge

I know its not SD related, but I got the correct parts to add upgraded alarm and Remote Access to the Wife's '17 Edge and the OBD2 connector is different than ours. it is the same stuff as for our tucks. Anyone in the industry have any insight as to where I'd find the connector to tie into?
Thanks!

Hey I got your message.

The 17 Edge install is a little different than what you've done in the past. Instead of the security module plugging directly into the OBDII port, it goes in line with the Gateway Connector. On most vehicles, that's directly behind the OBDII.... but not on the Edge.

It's tucked up in the dash. Once you locate the gateway connector, unplug it and you'll see the harness supplied with the security module plugs right in. Here's a picture:

Just note that you CANNOT have the ignition turned to on/accessories when you unplug the gateway module, otherwise you'll have some bad side-effects and require a calibration reset at the dealer.

You are my HERO!
Thanks, Man!
I'll be sure all power is off before I unplug.
