Satellite

Just purchased the 2014 F-150 with satellite radio. Have it signed up with my account. My problem is that it worked then it didn't as it says no signal then I go down the road and it might start working I pull in the driveway with it working and shut down then come back out and no signal. Is there something that I am missing ,does anyone know of a recall on this. I keep thinking of a bad connection but then it would lose signal going down the road this is just happening after I shut truck off and come back later .

Satellite Issues

You may have to contact them and have a signal pushed thru . If you have set up an online account you can do it that way. Or call customer service. I usually lose service when i`m on a tree lined road because the antenna is on the right side. It should have been placed towards the middle .

06 this has been on the books now for a week I have been a customer for at least 15 years they keep refreshing the signal but to no avail. Right after I posted the last one the radio did not work then not more than 15 min later I went to pull it into the garage and it works. I am thinking that it is something in the system of the truck ie receiver or loose connection hell anymore I don't know. Thank you for getting back. My other radios work good.

I'm wondering if you just have a loose antenna connector or a damaged cable/antenna. Do a quick google for f150 usb2 installation and you'll see how to access some of it.

I`m wondering if the radio is controlled by a computer. My nephew has a Toyota tundra ( i know it may not apply here) but had similar problems . He had to have the radio reflashed.
