On my 08 F250 4x4 5.4 engine does it have 1 or 2 tranny filters///amazon shows an in line tranny filter...

also should I just drop the pan or flush the entire tranny at Ford.
has 80000 miles

Amazon shows the inline filter because it was sometime in 08 that they went from the secondary filter that’s in the passenger side fender area and the in pan large debis filter to the in pan 100% filter the best way to figure this out is to look at your truck and see if the you have the secondary filter or not since none of us can see your truck. I know there is a build date cutoff for when the change was made but I don’t know what it is. There is also a pretty good chance that your local ford dealer doesn’t have the mythical heated flush machine to do a complete flush anyway. If you have the inline filter I would suggest you take it out and replace your in pan filter with the 100% filter and I believe you will need a different pan to acommodate that filter and then follow the newer service schedule.
