FORscan question
Hey guys just yesterday i recieved my OBD adapter and downloaded the FORscan software to my computer. So i found a very helpful spreadsheet. So i went through it, changed my double honk, changed the temp above the gauges, added heated and cooked seats to the screen.
but when i wanted to change the DRL there was an issue. I put the code in for the turn signals only. Once i started the truck and put it in D i noticed the bottom of the headlight was lite as well as the turn lamp. So i decided to change it to full disable. Once again the bottom of the head light still lights up.
is this normal? Is there no way to fully shut off the DRL?
and one last question. Are there more options to change besides the ones on the spreadsheet that i found on these forums?

Here is the Forscan info on DRL's:
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
BCM
726-45-01
xxxx 7Fxx xxxxAllow DRL choices below:726-50-01
XXxxReplace XX with the two digit value of the desired lights to illuminate in DRL mode.
01 = DRL Master Disable
02 = Low Beams
04 = Front Fog Lamps
08 = Front Turn Lamps
10 = Dedicated DRL Lights (LED Light Bars/Strips) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs
20 = High Beams
40 = Low Beams and Dedicated DRL Lights
Hex addition of all the choices above: 10+01+02+04+08+20+40=7F
Example 1: A truck with LEDs would have an as-built value of 726-45-01 xxxx 11xx xxxx which would only allow values at 726-50-01 of Dedicated DRL Lights (10) or DRL disabled (01) = (Hex addition of 10 + 01 = 11)
Example 2: A truck with Halogens would have an as-built value of 726-45-01 xxxx 03xx xxxx which would only allow values at 726-50-01 of DRL disabled (01) or DRL low beams (02) = (Hex addition of 01 + 02 = 03)
I tried every value on the sheet and got the lower headlight, lower + fog and can't remember what else. What I really wanted was my switchback turn signals as DRLs, but it was not to be...
