Help is needed
Have gone through just about everything on my bronco and I’m losing hope. I’m thinking it’s a bad ecm and I want a third opinion. When I try to time is to base timing or a little bit higher timing it won’t rev for crap. When I’m watching the timing dashes they jump all around past the pointer and behind it without me turning the distributor. I’ve replaced the distributor, plug wires, plugs, coil, and ignition control module. Does this point to the ecm? It’s also throwing weird codes that won’t go away when fixed or cleared. Been fighting this issue for months and have gone through just about everything through the Truck. Ecm?!

1995 Bronco 5.0, codes for egr voltage and mag sensor although both have been gone through. T shouldn’t be missing because the ignition system is all new stuff. Gunna check for more codes today and check out the ecm. It’s gotta be the ecm right?

Did you remove the SPOUT plug when checking/setting the base timing? If not, the computer is still controlling the timing.
Please list the codes by number and when they were displayed, i.e. Key On Engine (KOEP) tests, Stored Code (Continuous Memory) display or Key On Engine Running (KOER).
