I'm still waiting for airbag recall parts for the passenger side of a 2007 Mustang GT. With Takata filing bankruptcy/going out of business I'm guessing it'll never happen.

My wife's 2013 Mustang just had the airbag replaced last month. She never stopped driving it, and it took a long time even after we got the notice the parts were in.

I got the driver side fixed not long after I quit dragging my feet and made the appointment. The passenger side has been another story.
Dealer says no parts available. I contacted Ford and they said not true. So I contacted a few other dealers and they all said no parts available. Apparently the Ford rep had no idea what she was talking about.

I am in the process of buying a truck and cannot sign papers and pick it up because of this recall. I have been waiting since early October and the salesman said the parts may be in by November 13th. I was hoping to be driving it buy now but they aren't allowed to sell it until its fixed.

I guess it also sucks to be a dealer with these trucks sitting on the lot and they are unable to sell them and are paying on them. Oh well, I knew ahead of time and can only wait and hope Ford will hurry and get the parts to the dealers.

The dealer can't order the parts until they use Ford's testing tool on my seatbelt mount. So I have to schedule an appt for that. Then if it fails the test, they order the rivet by VIN. Oh why oh why does Ford make this so complicated? Why not just publish what size the rivet should be if it's correct, and let us put a micrometer on it, and be done with it?

Mine was in for it's first oil change and it failed the test. Now I have to wait for the parts to come in. Who knows how long that will be.

Same situation here, except I've been waiting since the beginning of September. My Truck has been sitting there collecting dust. My Son works at the Dealer as a detailer And pulls it into the detailing station every now and again just to clean it up.

I'm almost ready to buy a different truck that doesn't have inflatable seat belts .
