I bought new defroster hose for my '56. I found that if I routed it above the moving parts of the fresh air vent it has interference with the mechanism when the vent is opened, and also with the windshield wiper mechanism. When I route it through the vent mechanism it nearly cuts the hose in half when the vent is pulled open. It had no hoses when I bought it, so nothing to copy off of. Is there a trick to the routing? Maybe some sort of support bracket I don't have? Thanks........
Glad to hear you figured it out. I am in the same position as I've never seen the 56 ducts in place. But apparently the left defroster duct goes away from the heater in a left direction and the curves back to the right to join the upper left defrost outlet from the heater? Seems like that left hose will be quite long. Does anyone have a pic of their 56 heater duct work? Thanks Greg.
