recently started having this issue. Running lights work, left turn and brake work. No right rear turn or brake. No flash from front right turn. Occasionally front right doesnt come on at all. Dont know if its related to hooking to a junk trailer. Any thoughts? The right of trailer is what was jacked also.
I had a wire chafe in the rear tail light harness, and it caused all sorts of issues. It wouldn't let me shift out of park if the truck was running. I had to start it in neutral lol.
There is a turn signal flasher, and a hazard signal flasher. The turn signal flasher is the one you can directly see in the under dash fuse panel. The hazard flasher is in the same panel, but on the back side. The flashers themselves are the same, and can be interchanged.
There are aftermarket flashers that can handle more lamps than the stock flashers. This is useful when while towing a trailer you experience an erratic flashing pattern, or a very fast flashing pattern. I had this problem while using a slide in camper with tail lights, and towing a trailer. I had eight total bulbs running off a can rated for six.
