Hey guys, I've been looking, but having a hard time figuring out what sets number 8 apart in appearance? I thought I remembered it having LL etched into the head of the solenoid but I can't seem to find any of the pictures I took of my injectors.
I realize that 8 doesnt have to be special, but the reason I ask is because I have a set of core injectors that I bought a couple years ago. When I bought them I ended up getting 7 "ford" injectors and one "international". Due to that I am looking to get my 8th "ford" injector to make a complete set. I have found both a regular and a long lead injector for the same price. I would like to get a complete core set so I can send them in when I want new injectors.
Thanks for the help, hopefully my rambling makes sense...
I'm interested in the correct answer to this question myself. But otherwise, the LL #8 injectors are AE injectors, and I assume the solenoids would be marked as such. And you can only be certain of the type if you know for a fact that solenoid has never been replaced, or if it was replaced, then it was properly marked. I believe the only physical difference is the length of the intensifier piston.
