So, I bought a repro headliner from Dennis Carpenter and didn't put the center button in. Needless to say, the headliner is now warped and sagging beyond repair. I am going to replace it and saw that LMC has an ABS plastic version. Has anyone used the plastic headliner? What did you think of it? Obviously I won't make the same mistake in leaving the button off of the new one. It was an expensive lesson to learn. Thanks!
If you have a regular cab, you can always find an extended cab and cut it down to size. The headliner material in the later bullnose is very durable. With a little patience, you can have a great fitting unit.
I have the LMC plastic one. it didn't fit very well and required some trimming, but once trimmed, it worked well. Paint it to the color of your choice.
