Wheel Covers
Let me clarify something, the wheel covers were installed and fell off while driving on the highway in both occasions. This prompted my to remove the others and inspect the retaining clips. They appeared to be ok.
I asked my dealer if this was covered under the Bumper to Bumper coverage and was told no both times. I read the terms of that coverage ad it does not seem that those are excluded. This is the third Super Duty I have owned and it is the first time I have had any such issue. The covers are not cheap(like $50/each). I purchased a replacement for one of the two but am reluctant to purchase the second as it seems to be a trend.

The lug covers come uninstalled from the factory sometimes and the dealership should install them as final prep, they have a "double retention" so basically they snap over and then if you follow up with a solid tap from a rubber mallet they will seat fully.
When installed properly they are usually a little tough to get off.
It sounds like you had a lazy delivery prep boy at the dealership.
I personally would make a bigger stink at the dealership over the loss of 2 (TWO)!!!!!!!! that they installed!!
to me thats $100 i rightfully dont owe them.
(im assuming that you diddnt fiddle with them or remove them at some point?)

You know, I did not think about that. You are correct. Those covers are on the back seat of the vehicle prior to delivery. I found that truck on another lot in Mass. and had it delivered to CT for purchase. The prep was done at the very dealership I am asking for coverage. Seems crazy but I have considered many things before shelling out another $50 like replacing the rims with after market and flipping the factory ones or since I was so torn between this and the RAM go trade it in since there has been a few other quality issues.(shorted electrical connections under the truck due to water intrusion, leaking roof, wheel covers, and arbitrary shutdown and reboot of the SYNC system). The RAM is pretty mature in design and maybe not subject to this. It was mostly the attitude of the dealership that irritates me though...
man, sounds like you've gotten a little bit of a problem child there.
Ill be honest i have a 17 and haven't had a single problem (hold on while i find some wood to knock)
It also sounds like you have a little bit of a dealership problem. I personally have a mild irritation with my dealership as well.
