Half a pipe? Someone took the time to plasma a pipe in half just to save $20 on a bumper?
Looks like a Frontier-clone. But really IMO the only thing that matters is the metal thickness on the uprights coming off the plates that mount to the frame horns. If the pipe is Sched 40 and the uprights are measured in fractions of an inch and not gauge it looks like it'll work fine. They have tabs that hold the grille guard around the lights down to the main bumper, that's a good touch.
I picked Ranch Hand because the two best things in the world come from Shiner, TX: Ranch Hand and Shiner Bock.
Thank you Bryan I never thought about it being a whole piece of pipe. I just meant the stronger ones have the pipe kinda like the legend vs the summit.
Mine just took the bounce out of 6000# coils, you should be fine.
Find two friends and have them stand on the bumper, they weigh about as much as a replacement does. We're talking a couple hundred pounds, not 1k#+ like a major V-snowplow.
Thanks Bryan. Thought I would update this a bit....took a trip to Houston last week and stopped by a big dealer on the east side....don't want to spam up the forum but the name of the place is easy to find he is in Channelview. Anyhow I went by just to see how much stuff he had and try to pick up a full replacement with my hands just to see how heavy. We talked and looked at stuff he is a really cool helpful guy.....AND......his prices are awesome.
For full replacements he offers pretty much everything but he has a line called boss hog which looks pretty nice, he just doesn't warranty any finish. So if and when I make a move I'll just stop by and pay him and pick it up.
I had him look up a cattleman and he could get it for more than $300 less than anything I'd seen online.
