Backup Camera Turn on

2017 F350
I want to be able to turn on my backup camera as needed. I have cab over camper camera on the truck with a camera on it plugged in to the tailgate plug in I would like to be able to have a switch to turn it on to monitor a boat that I pull.

I found a page on it to tweek the radio but now I cannot find it again. Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck with that. Pretty much no reasonable solution that I have seen. It isn't like the old days where you find the right wire to ground. Messages are passed from the TCM and PCM to the AIIP or whatever the hell (I belong to AAAA, the American Association for the Abolishment of Acronyms). The only method I have seen (Lockpick) tricks the system into thinking it is not moving, so the rear view camera can display, but a side effect is that the navigation system doesn't work - not a great tradeoff.

If you find a way, let us know - I would love to do the same thing.
