i have an 95 E150 rear end that I’m swapping out for a 91 F150 rear end springs and all problem is it is off by about 3” a side? What is the best way to deal with this?

cut and reweld the spring perches.... but if you have a sliding side door the extra width will be a problem. to my understanding the vans track width is 5" narrower in the rear.

If it was me,I'd get a rear axle from a "E" series. The overall width will be a problem.

The pumpkin sits more to the right on the vans. The truck rear end will never line up correctly and will likely cause no end of vibration issues and worn out U joints.

This is a well known thing and has been discussed on this forum many times. Even if you get the springs to bolt up, nothing else correctly fits a Ford van rear end except another Ford van rear end.

Not to hijack this thread, but would the rear out of one of the small Ford busses/RV (E$%) I believe) line up under on of the regular vans?

If you are going through all the trouble of swapping in a rear end use a van rear end and get one with rear disk brakes . There cheap and everywhere.

Also make sure your vehicle speed sensor is compatible.

Ok i hear you guys thanks

All i can find near me is a E350 rear end I’m in a wheel chair and my van has a chair lift in it so it is not easy to do the work anymore. This will have to be my last try and I have to get it to right.

Why are you swapping the rear end in the first place?

Also use a online used parts finder or call a yard that has one .

Good luck

Why do you want to change the rear end ?

Do you want different gears?
