i am having a tough time trying to figure out re routing the glow plug harness in order to put a 093 turbo on my 91. Any advice will be much helpful. This is killing me
I got some flat metal (16 gague) and made a bracket. Mine sits around #7 injector over the valve cover. Took the lifting lug off and used those holes. Used the lifting lug as a pattern for the holes and cutout. Once I had the holes and cutouts, mount just the piece of metal , then bent it as needed. Took the controller put on the other end ,marked it up. Pulled the bracket back off trimmed and drilled, painted. Installed If # 7 does not work you could go to 5 or the fender or firewall. You are probably going to lengthen wires just make sure connection are tight , waterproof and the big wire ends insulated.

ideally I want it at the fender for easy access. I read somewhere where lengthening the wires could throw the system off?? I guess not. I will get some wire and just extend the wires like I originally planned and then continue on.
On the Hypermax van kit, they give you a metal plate that mounts on the studs holding the van diesel filter. I don't know if the truck IDI intake has the same studs, but you could fab up something to situate it over the middle of the driver's side valve cover. You can see the blue shim plate that raises the plate over the VC in this thread: Hypermax Van Turbo Install for the 7.3 IDI in a 1988 Ford Clubwagon ? IDI Online

finding a place to mount it isn't the problem. I have both valve covers from the turbo truck. I am just wondeRing how the harness was re routed. I will just move it to the fender and lengthen the wires as said above
