glow plug insulators
I'm not sure what its called but my old glow plug wires had some kind of material on the end that plugs on the gp that over time when tringles to remove wire deteriorates. I replaced 4 plugs with spare old ones and left the wires uninsulated and the gp's worked and the light stayed on like it's supposed to and worked fine for a week I have sense bought all new ones that I want to put on but I need to know if I can use those wires.

If the metal sockets are still good, cover them with heat shrink insulation for wiring. A couple of layers won't hurt. If the end clips are broken, you can get the crip on wire ends that match your glow plugs.
