Do not drink anything when you read the following.......I do not want to be to blame for the coke/coffee/water shooting from your nose/mouth and ruining your keyboards.
My boss asked me today if I knew anyone that could hook him up with four (4) tickets, seated all together, to the FSU-Miami game up in Tallahassee on Oct. 11th.
I'll check with my sis the professor because I know that the tickets to that game are "real easy" to come by.
Hey Wiz - you do realize that this is a joke. The boss really does want 4 tickets (all together). That's the joke. I think it would be harder to get tickets to that game that it to try and get season passes to a Redskins game.
Have you tried the school yet?(either one)? Since you are closer to Miami see if there is a school merchandise store around most of the time they know where to get them.
Now this is a hard decision, I can spend a min of $240 dollars to sit on a hard, possibly cold more likely hot humid, or down right wet as in rained on bench, listen to some guy suck snot for 4 hours because his mom didn't teach him to blow his nose, get puked on by the guy six rows up who had one beer/hotdog too many and is still loudly denying his inebriated state, be kicked jostled and just generally disturbed by the 8 strangers next to me, so I can watch, from a distance that an eagle wouldn't hunt from, what is it, 18 men/boys/idiots chase a ball/each other across the yard?
Or,
I can sit at home, watch anything I want from my extensive DVD collection on the 42inch , Have as many cokes as I want without worrying about what else is in the cup(Pepsi actually!!) that I didn't pay $3 each for, and converse with anyone in the world on here at the same time.
Or,
What I'll really be doing on the 11th, cruising the Smokey's in between tree/deadwood clearing jaunts on the 14 acres I recently aquired in in Jones Cove. And I'll just cruise over to harrahs and drop that $240 into my retirement account errr favorite slot machine.....
Thought I'd share my Sister's response to my Bosses request for tickets:
"Yeah, you can basically walk into any 7 Eleven and buy two 50 yard line tickets to the FSU-Miami game. NOT!! We don't even have tickets through Ginger's job at the bank, so certainly no extras. Sorry."
Guess he need to find a TV while he's up there visiting his kid that weekend!!
