No Kidding ! I'm going to install Limit Strap, similar to the ones Jeeps use.
I installed the door 90 degree lockout kit just for that reason.
Depending on your camper that may or may not be a failsafe. If I put my swingout brackets out I can open the rear door to the 90 degree check, but clearance to the door outer is a gnat's a$$, so any overtravel means contact. Without moving the swingout brackets, I have a similar condition at the first door check.
