Yea Pat the whole thing is crazy & makes no sense. I'm sure in time they will tell us a lot more. What is going to be interesting is how this will affect business on the Strip. Barrett-Jackson is at Mandalay Bay in two weeks. Will that be affected?
We went out and bought a new 2018 Chevy Equinox LT AWD. Traded in the Kia. The difference between the Kia & Chevy is no comparison. The Chevy has a 2.0L Turbo I4. with a 9 speed auto. Sorry I won't buy another Ford.
We took our new Equinox on a ride after church to June Lakes CA to look at the Fall colors & to have lunch. With only 200 miles on it it avg 28.9 mpg. So I'm sure 30+ mpg isn't out of the question.
The main reason we bought a Chevy is because of the Chevy Service Dept. They had done work for us in the past & they were very reasonable & did good work. The closest Ford dealership doesn't have the best reputation. Its like so many Ford dealerships questionable at best. Plus Chevy's get the best performance / gas mileage. In reading reviews on 2.0L EcoBoost in the Excape that was one complaint that came up over & over was MPG.
