Thanks Jim, I just spent two hours watching Jack Ryan and Marco Ramius (The Villinius Schoolmaster) . At least I grabbed the DVD and not the hardcover print version
Now I am looking for my copy of Hopscotch with Walter Matthau to enjoy the Oktoberfest scene in the opening.
Happy Sunday all, worked a few hours this morning....then the family and I had lunch at the Waterloo Club, bloody Mary and prime rib sandwich for me. Relaxing now.....have a great week all!
I have The Hunt For Red October on DVD, but not the other one you mentioned. Good movie. Personally, I don't drink but what else would you call October? Spooktober? LOL

We have friends up there that we just visited with last weekend. We checked with them this morning and they are "OK" for now. They are worried about any wind shifts, as they are not terribly far from the conflagration.
What a horrible series of fires. I can't believe the Tubbs fire has grown to 35,000 acres in 12 hours. Conservative estimates place the number of homes and businesses lost at 1500+ . I can see this taking 10k more homes if the wind keeps up.
Very sad fellers. My family up north lost everything, here are pics of a couple cars....in one picture you can see their pool in background. They only had time to get out with the clothes on their back and pets.....
Oh man , sorry Joe , prayers for your family and all who live up in the Zone,
Well my Nephews buddy Mark is out of the hospital , he took a shot in the Arm while helping victims , docs say most likely more surgeries will be needed, my Nephew is back to work At the fire house and it's going to be a long healing process for all, stay safe Y'all .
