Hi so I picked up a used leer cap to put on my 2014 screw and have been getting confused while searching for the procedure to wire the brake lights
I have read green wire in rear of truck green wire under hood, white and purple under hood and all sorts of other combos
Can someone who has done this with this year of truck help me out doesn't seem like it should be this difficult

Blue with red Stripe on my 2014 SCab under the hood right on top of the left fender
The green with yellow stripe is the dome light but the red wire runs to the battery for that on mine in the pic.
