If I remove then bumpers from the truck, will I have any issues with the computer after reinstalling? I have the back up sensors. Also would the battery need to be disconnected to facilitate removal of the bumpers (due to the electronics) or is it just a matter of unplugging connectors?
I would like to Line-X the chrome off the truck and the local shop charges a pretty penny to remove and reinstall the bumpers. Id like to know what Im getting into as far as the electronics go before I do this.
The systems that are unplugged will not function while unplugged but should return to normal once connected back up, you will set some trouble codes if the truck is used while the parts are out but that about it, nothing to worry about.
Most likely you'll be fine. As a precaution it's always wise to disconnect the negative on your battery when messing around when electrical connections.

I was thinking about that but I was wondering if disconnecting the battery was going to throw even more codes. Not sure though.
You will be fine. If you remove a front bumper that is equipped with Adaptive Cruise, you have to be sure to get the box back to how it was situated or it will require calibrating.
