Actually Don it was in the low 90's today; a nice relief. I notice when I sit idling the sensor picks up engine heat at an alarming rate!
I'd rather have the gauges than the OBDII display.

Gauges are better.. Mine has the factory temp gauge
Can you relocate the sensor to another spot?

Right now it's sitting just behind the front grill. Works great when I'm moving, but when stopped in traffic it soaks up evaporator/radiator/tranny heat. Will take a look for a better spot.

Maybe it just needs to be moved to one side and not near the radiator
I know mine doesn't work right when I have the plow on
