That was an easy day...LOL
Took us 3 hours to figure out the light issue..
Sucks trying to figure out what some idiot was thinking years ago..LOL

They have 7 can lights in the ceiling.. 5 went out..
It was wired crazy and we ended up using an ohm meter from each fixture to figure out what was wrong.. Found an open line between two fixtures..
Only problem was we assumed the electricity started at one fixture, but it didn't..
The idiot wired the center of the ceiling as the start then ran around the room.. Once we figured that out we found a wire in the wire nut that was loose and had burn marks on it.
Also discovered the idiot put a junction box in the ceiling we can't get to without cutting the ceiling..
Good thing we didn't have to go that route..

Sounds like a homeowner added a room. Its fine as long as it doesn't have any problems down the road 30 years.

Yeah it was an old small camp that they enclosed and added to over the years..
The best thing that could happen to remodel that is to burn the house down..
