Is that a front and back pic of the kick plate? The object on the rite is the front and the left is the back. I don't think there were 2 styles. If there is the one on the rite looks correct for 73-79 trucks
I have only parted out 73-79 trucks and this is what i have in my stash. you can see the other ends are the same. I want to use the correct ones for 1977.
I had high hopes when I purchased reproduction sill plates for my truck from Dennis Carpenter, but was disappointed with them. The pair I was sent match the originals, except for the finish. They were dull and very scratched up, certainly not a OEM-type finish. I bet if I had put a little elbow grease into buffing up my original plates, they would have looked just as good.
I bought $500 77 f150 plow truck in pretty good shape. When I got it home I looked behind the seat and there was a new old stock still wrapped Ford sill plates. It was a win win because I needed a set for my 78 project
