I like it. Have you considered possibly making a recessed plate bottom, with plate cap...like a mini toolbox in your door? Simple hinge job and clip, you can store odds and ends right there. Just an idea. I like the clips of the offroading too.

That really is an awesome idea. All you need now are 'T' tops. I've thought about making the top half of my F150 cab removable, kinda like the old broncos. But I'm not sure if the rest of the cab would collapse or not.
