It's a piece of cake to switch over - beware though, that with Warns, they use a spring-steel ring to hold the locking hub in the axle hub. These rings are not thick enough to hold the hub still and they will rattle when you hit bumps. Before installing them, email Warn, and they will send you another set of rings (within a few days) to add to the existing ones and that will keep them steady.

X2 for the WARN Hubs. Replace and never look back. I ran the WARN premiums on my 99. Look great and when you turn and here the "click" no questions. You are good to go.

This is the only guy I've seen that opened up the hubs completely and it requires having a hole in the selector like you already have. Not sure how you seal it back up again but it shows the remainder of the hub that guzzles service write up leaves alone.

Thanks for the info on the warn hubs and thanks for sharing that video.

It's nice to know how to disassemble if needed.

Weird, I had mine completely - and I do mean COMPLETELY apart without poking holes in that filter. YMMV
