Wow, pricey when compared to the $95 it cost to order them if you order a truck.
Oddly enough, I see very few SD with clearance lights. Non of the 2017's I looked at in San Diego area had them, not one. Not the only factor but one of many reasons as to why I ordered a 2018.
Begs the question, why are the clearance lights only standard on DRW?
Weight capacity? Width? Has to be one of those...
As I have been told its due to weight, capacity, size of truck and its treated commonly as a commercial vehicle and the Feds require them for that reason...or so it was 'splained to me.
Amber lenses and of course amber LED lamp.
I had mine installed a week ago. I’m in Dallas, and it cost me $700. It took about 6 hrs, but they did cut a rectangular hole.

I'm going with the Recons as well. Any chance of some closer up pics of them?

It's width, anything over 79" is required to have them. This is why duallies get them and SRW trucks do not. They are also required on the rear (between the tailgate and bumper on duallies). This is why trailers over 79" wide have three red lights in the center of the rear as well.
surprising, up north here every truck on the lot except for work trucks has them.
I asked my dealer who is a country dealer and he tells me no one wants them, to which I replied I do!
To me its just a practical thing to have, also helps identify my truck as I roll down the highway to other cars. More lights are better in the traffic I drive in.
I would like to add cab lights to my F250, just for looks, but I don't want to have to use a dremel to cut rectangles out for the lights. I've built or welded up enough things to know that I would need a mill to keep everything straight. Found this set that uses a round hole but the reviews aren't stellar.
