Probably stupid question
I can not find in the manual, or am blind, what the lock on the rear bumper is for. To the right of the license plate.

It covers the access hole for lowering your spare tire ... keeps your spare from being stolen.

BTW, there's no such thing as a stupid question. If you don't know, ask ... it beats assuming. OTOH, I have heard a lot of stupid answers.
