Trailer connection question

I was showing my son in law my new F150 and we were looking at the rear bumper. There is a round key-like device next to the license plate on the right side. Can anyone tell me what it is for? Thanks guys.
Don’t know if you can see it in this photo but I thought I’d show off my new truck anyway!

That where you insert your tire iron to lower down your spare tire. (My dad just got a 2018 this week and had the same question, It took us a while to figure it out). It was in the manual under the "Wheels and Tires section about Removing the Spare Tire.

But first you'll need to insert the spare key that came with the truck (if you have keyless entry) to remove the plug.
