Superbright LED website. I've purchased from them many times for my boat and my motorcycle and I've not been disappointed. Put a 7 inch LED above my license plate and a 20 inch LED below my license plate. I plan on putting two more LED bars on the rear bumper area and these are going to be for auxiliary lighting while camping. I'm going to wire them to the upfitter switches to the "always on" five and six. I used 3M undercoating on the 20 inch lightbar to hide the chrome hardware.... and I'll do it on the two rear light bars as well. The light bar above/behind my license plate is basically invisible so I didn't feel the need to hit it with the undercoating. They're only mounted on right now so obviously more to come after I wire them up and show you the light.
See it back there? I wish I didn't have to have a front license plate unfortunately it's something Massachusetts requires.
This is the light behind/above the front plate
The 20 inch bar under the bumper. Removed the valance so plenty of room for this light without going too low. Lights are only 1.15 inch wide.
Very cool! Wish we'd get some of that glorious rain in California
Are you leaving the front valance completely off? I've been debating on buying a 2WD valance, but I'd rather spend that money on things like LEDs haha.

Can't wait to see the light output!
Yes leaving it off. I hit the three parts that hang down with the 3M undercoating. The only hanging down about an inch or less and I covered most of the front one with the LED bar. I might cover the other two side pieces with 7 inch light bars as well but I'm not sure yet. I did connect the bars to a battery before installation and they're pretty bright. The test will be at night however I won't really need to use them while driving they will just be for auxiliary lighting while out of the truck so any light output is probably going to be fine.
Got the 2 rearbars installed today. Well mounted at least. Won't have time for wiring until next week. After seeing these photos posted I am realizing how poor they are. Ill get better shots at some point.
So I mounted 2 7 inch single stack LED bars on the underside of the hitch. I also have a control box that allows me to control the lights from a key fob so I wont have to enter the vehicle to use them. These are the lights: https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...0-lumens/3770/
Nice! That looks like a great spot for hooking up a trailer or for camping.
Now you gotta do the hard part haha.
exactly. We'll be using them for camping mostly. The wiring should be fairly easy since I have all kinds of wires running to the rear for the cap tail light and power outlets already. The front should be even easier since the upfitter box and wires are right there. I think the difficult part was finding a 7/16 wrench about 13 inches long to reach down the middle of the hitch square tube to grab the nut on the mounting hardware. It was more annoying than I thought it would be. lol
