Hello,
I have a 2010 F150 screw. I went through the car wash the other day and the rear turn signal's and brake lights stopped working. By the time I got home they were working again. Now when it rains or I hit a large bump in the road they stop working. My question is could this be caused by a loose connection where the tail lights plug into the harness? If so does anyone know where they plug in at?
Open the tailgate and you will see a couple of screws that are holding the lights in place. Take them out and tug on the light housing to remove it. You can twist the bulb socket about a quarter turn to release it from the housing. Pull the bulbs in and out of the sockets a few times to see if it might have a bit of oxidation on the contacts.
Otherwise since all stopped working at once it is going to be further up in the harness.
