Instr Cluster MY Identification

I've decided to go OEM for a tach in my '93. While looking through Ebay I see some (most) tach clusters are marketed for '92-96. Is there a way to ID a '92-93 cluster on sight? I'm hoping to be able to pick the right one out from the pictures, either front or back.

On the printed foil on the back look for the number to start with F2 or F3.
The F4 and up will not be plug and play for your 1993.

You might want to look at this link for photos also:

Perfect, thank you.
Since I'm generally looking at p*ss-poor cell phone photos, can you give me an idea of where the # is printed. Also, if I can't see it I could tell the seller where to look for it.

ETA: Oops... I replied before I looked at the link you provided. Got it now. Thanks again.

Yeah, you need a 93 only. I think I have one. I put a 93 in a 94 one time and my friends truck wouldn't charge because of how it was wired through the cluster. Or something like that, it was a long time ago.

Look at the above link I posted for you.

A 1992 or 1993 cluster will work in a 1993.

I read a thread about that same issue somewhere. Has something to do w the ammeter being wired sort of "backwards" in the newer clusters.
Are youinterested in selling the 93 cluster?
