Hey fellers!
Taking advantage of what may be the nicest day that we see for a while.
It's almost 80 degrees, sunny and a light breeze, so the lawn is cut and trimmed for what may be the last time of this year.
Now I have the mower, trimmer, and tiller all ready for winter. I love Sta-Bil, fuel stabilizer....
Tomorrow's hi temp is 45.....yup almost a 40 degree difference. F'n nuts, but it is Missouri.
Shari and I have pretty much decided that when our lease is up this next May, we're gonna go back to the Kansas City area.
We really like it down here in Southern Missouri, but it just isn't the same place that we left 5 years ago. A few couples are now divorced, and more have moved away and don't have much to do with anybody anymore.
And now both kids, Samantha, and now Tim are both up that away. Both of Shari's folks, and my mom are up there. As well as our brothers and sisters, and friends we've each had since childhood.....

Looks good to me. Let's see what happening in everybody's life this coming up Spring. I'm sure we'll at least be moving someplace the end of April.

 

Dang Bob, I think Sharri is trying to kill you for the insurance. Lol. Don't worry though, eventually they will quit showing that old episode of America's Most Wanted and you can settle down for good.

 

What did Bob do this time to get on AMW?

Got power back on the 26th. Phone, cable and internet 5:30 today.
Had to take my mother to ER on 27th and she got a pacemaker on the 28th.
30X20 carport the trailer stays under is in the field across the street. Trailer untouched.
Two "large" Magnolia's in front yard are trash. Many shingles off roof. Adjuster coming tomorrow.

 

Tony, I hope your mother is OK now. Keep us posted.

WOW...you really got hit bad. Glad no one got hurt. Let us know if you need a hand with anything.

Bob on AMW... why wouldn't that surprise me. I'd guess he lost his temper at another mower and...

 

I stopped in my favorite auto parts/auto body supply store (Miller auto parts) to check on something and they are moving & switching brands.

Was a Car Quest now going to be a NAPA but the really bad part they are no longer going to carry auto body supplies

I was told their other store in Benson is also switching brands but will still carry auto body supplies. Thing is they are out of the way for me but there is no one around here to get supplies from.
Or I can go really far out of my way to Lillington to get my body supplies.

Guess I should look into getting the paint for my truck so it is all the same brand wile I can I just don't want it sitting around till spring when I think I will have the truck ready for paint.

what brand are you using? I picked up some paint stuff from the store over in Garner. Though Lillington might actually be closer.
