I was just installing my rear well liners and I noticed that both sides of my hitch looked like they where bent in. Is this normal? There are not scratches or marks indicating something hit it. Both sides appear to be symmetrical. Too dark right now to get a good pic.

 

They are normal Mine has the dimples also.
