1967 F100 Window regulator

The drivers side window regulator on my 67 has a stripped gear. It's not the handle but where the gear is inside the regulator. Has anyone had any luck repairing one of these? I've read that they don't make these in the aftermarket for he 67 but Mac's auto lists one although they do not appear to be in stock yet. If not, does anyone have any leads on any laying around or a NOS unit? I also see that Dennis Carpenter has them but I thought they were only for the Mustang. Will this work? They are hard to find but once in a while some NOS stuff comes up on Ebay. I picked up a pair- left and right- for about $90 each. I also got a pair of parking brake cables for the same price.
These '67s can be curses as a lot of stuff is one-off.
Keep looking for the regulator. If you don't have any luck in a month or so shoot me a PM. If you do post up here first as I rarely check my mail. I think I have a NOS in my shed. My recall was that I got two while they were available.

Well, I know Ford list the 67 regulator as different but I know guys who have used regulators from 68-72 and they said it worked fine. Haven't done it personally though.

DC has them for 67's. I've bought them and they work good.

From what I've read today, the only difference in the 67 and 68-72 regulators is the length of the crank stem. You can use the 67 handle but need a longer screw for the stem. If that's the case I'll have to check my dad's part stash to see if he has one. Also there's a swap meet this weekend in my area so I'll check there also. I'll report back on how it goes!

That reminded me, I bought one for my 69 and the shaft was indeed too long. I had to grind some of the splines off in order for the handle to bottom out properly.

Not only are the window regulators 1967 only but so are the window crank handles.

The door shells are also 1967 only, as are the vent frames/handles, door lock remote controls, inside door handles, door latches, door lock cylinder rods, armrests, door trim panels.

1967 F100/750: You push the inside handles forward to lock the doors, 1968/72 F100/750 have door lock *****.
