Champion Radiators Part #
I had to replace the radiator in a 74 F250 with a 360. I had a hell of a time finding the correct radiator due to the fact that the mounting bracket had to be on the engine side of the radiator. I called Champion and they told me that they had just started to manufacture this radiator. The engine side number is CC444 and the grill side is cc443 just for your information.

Thanks. Got a pic of your setup for reference? We talk about the differences now and then, but I don't remember seeing any detailed shots.
I believe I have what you would call the grille side CC443 version. Where the full mounting flange is on the radiator, and it bolts directly on to the flat surface of the core support.
The one it sounds like you have is the one with a flat flange on the radiator, that bolts to an actual extension bracket on the core support. Correct?
Funny the opposite happened to me the last time I needed one. All the ones they looked up were the one you have, while I needed the other one.
Are you going to be buying a Champion once they're available? Or are you just going to keep the one you already have?

Now isn't that interesting! Looks almost as if they simply reversed the mounts on the radiator so it could be bolted right to the support.
Does your truck have A/C or not? And is that the Super Cool size? Looks like maybe not, but not sure.
In our cases our trucks are 4 model years apart so that could have been the main difference. But if no A/C on yours, maybe that's another reason for the change.

I have been doing some homework on radiators mine is a 66 and all together different but champion has had some killer reviews when it comes to customer service and support, one gentleman on here actually took his truck to champion and they modified his on the spot, that was after he had received a couple from them as he tried to make things fit. Bottom line is their c/s appears to be spot on. Good luck with yours

Yes it did. I had to drill new holes through the radiator flange but other than that it has worked just fine.
